Al Reid goes the distance
In December 1952, Winnipeg District Manager, Al Reid travelled across the snowy muskeg regions around Churchill and Hudson Bay, Manitoba, using a dog sled team to visit clients.

Whimsical ads in the 1950s promoted a disciplined approach to saving, showing that contributing just a few dollars a week could add up to something remarkable.
A gift for Winnipeg
To mark Winnipeg’s centennial in 1974, Investors Group donated the Red River Ox Cart sculpture to Assiniboine Park. Winnipeg Mayor Steve Juba (far left) was on hand for the presentation.
