“Champions or sponsors are people who are talking about you when you're not in the room, like the good talking behind your back,” says Paulina Cameron, CEO of The Forum. “So, they are the ones where they hear about an opportunity, or someone is asking for a quote or a recommendation, they're putting you forward.”

Championing women. That could be a perfect description of A Wealth of Women’s Stories podcast. For three seasons, the podcast has been championing women’s voices through authentic and relatable conversations between guests and its host, award-winning entrepreneur Manjit Minhas.

The podcast was created so women could have a platform to share experiences of empowerment, breakthroughs and perseverance. The newest episode, the Best of Season Three (available on your favourite podcast streaming app), shares unaired content and looks back at some of the most powerful and insightful segments that occurred.

Here’s a sneak peek of the guests you can expect to hear from (and what you’ll hear from them) during this special “best of” episode, where women’s voices are not only heard, but celebrated.

Paulina Cameron, CEO of The Forum, shares her passion for ensuring women entrepreneurs have the resources they need to thrive.

“If we could unlock, even just in Canada alone, women's economic potential, 150 billion would flow to our economies,” says Paulina.

Christine Van Cauwenberghe, Head of financial planning at IG Wealth Management demystifies the misconceptions that many women have about a career in the finance industry.

“I’m hoping that more women come to understand what the opportunity [in financial planning] is,” says Christine. “It’s about getting to know your clients. It’s about being empathetic, being a good listener. Not being someone who just comes up with strategies off the top of their head.”

Barb Stegemann, founder of The 7 Virtues Beauty Inc. discusses her compelling story of overcoming adversity through the power of stoic wisdom.

“My mantra during the pandemic was, ‘Get mad. Take a bath. Have a nap,’ and it’s worked for me. Get mad. If something’s taken from you, let it out. Then go take a bath and stare at the trees, turn off your phone, read some Socrates or Plato, and then take a nap and let your subconscious mind sort out everything,” advises Barb.

Jennifer Rainnie, entrepreneur and founder of Malvados, a fashion-forward brand, reveals the importance of prioritizing authenticity and your core values.

“My motto is, good luck is a return on positive energy. I really, really believe in that. And I feel like being positive, it impacts you, everyone around you, everything you do,” says Jennifer.

Camille Dundas, principal educator for the IDEA Practice, shares her expertise on the topic of allyship and anti-racism education.

“Sometimes allyship doesn't look like stepping up, it looks like stepping back and inviting others to the table,” says Camille.

This season, breakthroughs were made through discussion, and community was built through connection and conversation. Manjit Minhas brought out the best in our guests and shared these authentic moments with our listeners.
