Our commitment to sustainable investing is guided by five core principles

Active PRI signatory

IG Wealth Management and our money managers are signatories of the United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI).

Avoid cluster munitions

Our money managers will not knowingly invest in companies involved in the production, use or distribution of anti-personnel land mines or cluster munitions.

ESG integration

Many of our money managers assess material environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors in their investment analysis and decision-making, to better understand risks and identify opportunities that maximize investment performance. Where ESG integration is employed as an investment strategy, it is disclosed in the relevant Fund’s prospectus.

Active ownership

We expect our money managers to be active owners by ensuring that they vote all of their proxies. In addition, our money managers may at times engage with investee companies, in an effort to influence and improve company ESG behaviour.
