The Dream Team, a series by IG Wealth Management, shares the stories of Canadians in four community groups as they face barriers on their journeys to achieving their dreams. Launching just in time for financial literacy month, this series is an initiative of our IG Empower Your Tomorrow community program and showcases the life-changing effects of gaining control of your finances and how supporting communities through education and mentorship has greater impact than simply donating dollars.
This new series is part of our commitment to continue to support Canadian communities. English episodes are led by Dragons’ Den’s very own Manjit Minhas, while host Isabelle Racicot leads the team in the French. Together with business and financial professionals, including IG experts Marissa Teeter, Alana Riley and Carl Thibeault, The Dream Team invests in our dreamers by sharing knowledge, experience and mentorship.
For over 90 years, we’ve been dedicated to building financial confidence in communities by giving Canadians the resources they need to own their financial future. Through the IG Empower Your Tomorrow community program, we’ve increased our focus by supporting Indigenous peoples, newcomers, seniors and youth through donations of more than $7 million each year, hosting free financial workshops and assisting partners in delivering valuable educational resources.
